As simple as it sounds, we want us all to flow together. Regardless of geography, gender, sexual orientation, dis/ability, race, ethnicity, age, religion, economic status or any other characteristic. We believe that every difference, even the smallest ones, not only make everyone unique, but also enrich the community. Diversity gives us the opportunity to keep learning and growing as human beings.

This Airflow Summit we are proud to announce the diversity and inclusion setup in which we have been carefully working based on other models all over the world, we want this event to be comfortable and memorable for everyone, specially after a long time of not seeing each other in person, we want you to feel included, confident and free to share whatever is in your mind. These are some of the scopes that we are taking into consideration:

  • Scholarships for event pass and travel expenses

We runned a process for scholarship applications that were received and carefully evaluated, giving priority to the under-represented groups. The scholarship provides: a free pass, discounts, and support for travel expenses.

  • Accommodation support

We have negotiated special fares with some hotels. Take advantage of these special fares, take a look at the recommended hotels.

  • Visa assistance We are assisting people from all over the world with the requested information such as providing the invitation letter required for Canada visa processing.

  • Venue Accessibility The venue is equipped with accessible areas. If you need any assistance about onsite accessibility, please speak to the event staff at any of the registration or information desks onsite.

  • Pronouns stickers In order to make you feel more comfortable, we will have pronouns stickers available that you can add to your badge.

  • Inclusive food menu

The lunch will have food alternatives for all tastes, including a vegan and vegetarian option. Make sure you let us know your preferences at your registration.

  • T-shirts in different sizes

We will make sure that the shirts are of different sizes so that people feel comfortable wearing them.

  • First Aid/Medical Assistance

If you require first aid or medical assistance, please visit our registration desk or the venue front desk.

  • Inclusive dynamics that promote community coexistence

A reception for all participants will be held at the event venue. We are planning different activities for different interests, and a lot of surprises.

  • Sessions presented by women and non-binary

We are glad to have some women and non-binary speakers as participating. Please take a look at our speakers, and we encourage you to attend their sessions.

  • Code of conduct

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the event staff immediately. Event staff can be identified by staff badges and/or shirts onsite and can be found at the event registration counter at any time. Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.
