Software Engineer at Bloomberg
Sung Yun is a Software Engineer on Bloomberg’s Enterprise Data Lake team, based out of New York City. His work focuses on leveraging open source tools like Apache Airflow and Apache Iceberg to build robust pipelines that deliver time series data to both internal and external users. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from Cornell University.
Sung is also a former Sergeant of the South Korean Army, and applies a similar, disciplined approach when designing reliable and incident-responsive applications.
