Vikram is currently working as the Chief Strategy Officer at Astronomer. He is an experienced engineering executive having built global software teams for B2B SaaS and software applications. His technical background is in distributed systems and data infrastructure, having an extensive patent portfolio.
Vikram’s open source background started as an early author of the GNU Debugger (GDB) co-contributing it’s remote debugging feature and he is an Apache Airflow Committer, starting with design contributions for Scheduler HA and followed by language features such as Data Driven Scheduling and Setup / Teardown.
