Before joining OpenAI, Hongyi was a Software Engineer on the Data Pipelines team at Apple Cloud Services, where he worked on large-scale data infrastructure. Prior to Apple, he worked at WePay, contributing to core infrastructure and open-source projects including Apache Airflow and Waltz.
