In-person events planned for Airflow Summit 2022

While all of the content from Airflow Summit will be live streamed, we will also have multiple in-person events where Airflow users, developers and enthusiasts will gather to watch sessions (either live or in-person) and participate in networking activities. The following cities/communities are planning to host an in-person event. Amsterdam, Netherlands. Bengaluru, India. Lagos, Nigeria (May 24, 14:30 - 18:30 hrs UTC). London, UK (May 23, 14:30 - 18:30 hrs UTC).

Call for Papers for Airflow Summit 2021 is open!

Airflow Summit is coming back for 2021! The event will be from July 8 to July 16, 2021. The first two days (July 8-9) we plan to have preconference workshops and then the regular talks will be from July 12 to July 16. Although the 1st Airflow Summit was a huge success, we plan to improve on it and hope to make this year’s event even better. For that, the first thing we need is the participation from the community by sharing all the amazing things that you are doing with Apache Airflow.

Making sense of the schedule structure of Airflow Summit

When the organizing team decided to make the Airflow Summit online, the call was “Let’s do it, but let’s make sure that we take advantage of this opportunity to involve those who wouldn’t have been able to attend the onsite event.” The first request was to take advantage of the digital format to be able to space out the sessions over a longer period of time, in order to allow more participants to join live.

Airflow Summit will be held from July 6th to 17th, 2020

As we had previously explained, in the best interest for the safety of the Apache Airflow community, the Airflow Summit will be completely digital this year. We now have the dates, the Airflow Summit will be held from July 6th to 17th. And to make the event accessible to everyone, we are excited to announce that we will be making all core content free of charge. We are very excited by the quality and quantity of talk submissions.

Airflow Summit 2020 Reboots as an Online Conference

The event will now be completely online and the date will be moved to “Summer 2020”. We are working on defining specific format and dates, and will communicate that in the coming weeks. We are thrilled by the number and quality of submissions we got thus far. We have not expected that many great proposals and we also know there are many people who did not manage to make their submissions on time (and asked us to extend the deadline).
